Kamil Stoch was the best Pole in Saturday’s World Cup competition on the ski jumping hill in Oberstdorf. – Yes, technically I did 90 percent of what I had to do. There was very good energy in that last jump, it was even successful, but I still held the top a little too long – he commented in an interview with Eurosport.
Stoch took 12th place, scored 204 m and 221 m, which gave him a total score of 405.6 points. In the second series, he advanced by nine positions and equaled his best performance of the season.
On Saturday, the Slovenians ruled. Timi Zajc won. His compatriot Peter Prevc was second and Austrian Stefan Kraft third. Aleksander Zniszczoł took 19th place, Piotr Żyła 26th, and Dawid Kubacki 39th.
