Kamil Stoch was the first Pole to present himself. Our champion won on the giant hill in Oberstdorf in 2019.
When it came to his Saturday test, the wind became very unfavorable and the jumper from Ząb had to wait. This did not affect Stoch’s jump, which scored 215.5 meters in great style. He was clearly pleased with his attempt. At the end he was 14th.
He was followed by Piotr Żyła, who did excellently in Friday’s duet competition. This time he reached 204.5 meters, but it gave him a certain promotion from 21st place.
The next player was Dawid Kubacki. He jumped half a meter closer to Żyła, but his scores were higher. This was also enough to get promoted. He took his place right behind Żyła.

THE DESTROYER JUMPED FAR
Aleksander Zniszczoł ended the real wave of the White and Reds. Once again he proved his high fitness and from the 15th starting beam he soared 224 meters. At that moment he was third in the entire field. He ultimately finished ninth.
The qualification for Saturday’s competition was won by Austrian Stefan Kraft, who jumped 234.5 meters.
