End of the competition. The winner was Slovenian Timi Zajc. His compatriot Peter Prevc was second and Austrian Stefan Kraft third. Poles’ places in the final series: 12. Kamil Stoch (advance by nine places), 19. Aleksander Zniszczoł, 26. Piotr Żyła.
Aleksander Zniszczoł – 219.5 m. 8th place. Kamil Stoch is the runner-up.
Kamil Stoch – 221 meters. He is a leader.
Piotr Żyła – 198 m. Now he is second.

Daniel Huber flew as much as 137 meters. The Austrian is leading. The run-up length has been shortened.

Saturday’s qualifying has started!
On Thursday, too strong a wind prevented training and qualifying on the giant hill in Oberstdorf (HS235). It was decided to move the qualifications to Saturday, before the competition. On Friday, there was a two-series duet competition preceded by a training session.
The Poles in the duet competition included Piotr Żyła and Aleksander Zniszczoł. Before the last jump, the White and Reds were in 3rd place. After Zniszczoł’s attempt, Poland finally took 5th place. The Slovenians won ahead of the Norwegians, Austrians and Japanese. It was a historic, first ski flying duo competition.
51 players from thirteen teams will participate in Saturday’s qualifications for the individual competition . 40 jumpers will advance to the competition.
Poles’ starting numbers: Kamil Stoch (27), Piotr Żyła (28), Dawid Kubacki (29) and Aleksander Zniszczoł (30).
